• • Temperature measurement

    •Temperature gauge

Temperature gauges are used to show oil or winding temperature on power transformers, reactors or similar equipment. These thermometers are designed for applications and use according to European Standard BS EN13190.

    •Temperature transmitter

Temperature transmitter are specifyically designed for placement in sanitary process applications in lines where the accurate and repeatable pressure measurement in difficult (vibration, wide temperature swings, humidity) environments are required. environments are required.

    •Temperature Switch

The functioning of a temperature switch and a pressure switch is almost same since both the devices get triggered by variations in pressure. In many of the temperature switch designs, the temperature sensing element is positioned in such a way that the rise or drop in temperature results in the increase and decrease of internal pressure of liquid or gas such as in liquid filled temperature switches. This variation in pressure can then be used to actuate a switching mechanism.

    •Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD)

Resistance Temperature Detectors or RTDs for short, are wire wound and thin film devices that measure temperature because of the physical principle of the positive temperature coefficient of electrical resistance of metals. The hotter they become, the larger or higher the value of their electrical resistance.

The advantages of RTDs include stable output for long period of time, ease of recalibration and accurate readings over relatively narrow temperature spans.

    •thermowell

Thermo wells are required whenever pressure, velocity or corrosion media exist. Using a thermo well allows you to remove your temperature instrument without shutting down the process.
